There is no better feeling than creating something with your own hands. I’m not just talking about the products—I’m talking about the space, the place where Aalis lives and breathes. Our boutique in Thessaloniki wasn’t just a project. It was a journey that changed me. And I didn’t do it alone. 
The Beginning: March 2023
It was March 2023. My husband—then still my partner—looked at me and said, "Why don't we create something special together?" It wasn't just a suggestion. It was an invitation to create something that doesn't exist.
Because you know what? In Greece there is no service and environment that makes you feel like you deserve better. And I wanted to change that. I wanted to create a place where a Greek company would bring an exceptional shopping experience.
So, I took a piece of paper and a pencil. I designed every corner, every shelf, every detail. It wasn't an architect designing for me—it was me. Because no one understands better than me what Aalis means. And no one understands better than my husband, who is a chemist-cosmetologist and the creator of our products, what I want to achieve.

But the dream isn't always a straight path. Money disappeared. Promises were broken. At one point, I looked at my husband and said, "This is over now. I'm taking over."
And so I did. With no support from anyone but my husband, I took over the management of the project. Every decision, every detail, every problem—me. But it was there. Always there. It wasn't easy, but it was ours.
Our philosophy
Every problem, every challenge—they all had a purpose. They made me stronger. They made me remember why I created Aalis. Why I wanted to bring something different to Greece.
I would never sell anything to my customers that my children wouldn't be able to freely put on their skin. That's my statement. That's Aalis' truth.
And the white character of the store—the minimal aesthetic, the clean environment, the LED lights that illuminate each product like a work of art—all of this is a statement. There is nothing to hide here. There is nothing I don't want you to see. Here, everything is clean. Real. Refined. Greek.
In September 2025, the store was finally ready. Two years later than March 2023. Two years full of challenges, lessons, and victories. Two years.
Today, when I go to our boutique, I don't just see a store. I see our journey. I see the determination, the perseverance, and the love for what we create. Every shelf of our products, every detail of the design, every corner—it's a piece of our soul.
And when a customer walks in and feels the calm, the cleanliness, the security—I know she got the message. Here, there is truth. Here, there is Aalis.
